Actress falls spectacularly on red carpet – and the cameras catch every second

WHEN it comes to falling over, the red carpet in front of the world's press isn't the most ideal place to do it.

GREEN GODDESS: South Korean actress Moon looked stunning at the premiere

Unfortunately, sometimes heels and a long train leave you with no choice.

Actress Moon So-ri absolutely stacked it at the Venice Film Festival, resulting in a frame-by-frame depiction of her dramatic fall.

The 42-year-old is a judge at the 73rd Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section, and made an appearance at the premiere of The Light Between Oceans.

GOING... Moon's train sparked some difficulties

The South Korean actress embodied old school glamour in a emerald green gown teamed with strings of pearls.

The classic dress featured a long train attached at the waist, which was tricky when accompanied by Moon's towering heels.

Although the star initially looked graceful as she posed for the cameras, she soon struggled when moving down the red carpet.

When the train material got caught on her heel, Moon took a spectacular tumble, yelping as she fell to her knees.

Two men rushed to Moon's aid in an attempt to catch her on her way down.

Luckily, Moon had a sense of humour about the embarrassing incident, and laughed as she got back to her feet.

She's in great company, at least – plenty of celebs have fallen in front of the cameras, including Madonna, who infamously fell off stage at the BRITs thanks to a disobedient cape.

And Justin Bieber suffered quite the mishap when he disappeared off the edge of a walkway.

Also at The Light Between Oceans premiere were real life couple and stars of the movie, Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender.
