NEW GIRL: Katie arrives on Love Island

On Friday’s episode, new girl Katie Salmon admitted that she has a crush on the Island, and you’ll never guess who it is.

The 20-year-old revealed that she has eyes for Sophie Gradon.

She dropped the bombshell when she was getting to know existing Islanders Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas.

First, she revealed the guys she liked: “I like tattoos, so Adam, Terry and Alex as well. I’m excited, I wonder who I’m sharing a bed with.”

Kady told her she’d be bunking with Sophie: “She’s a single girl, because you can’t share a bed with a boy until you’ve coupled up with them.”

Scott then asked Katie if she knew Sophie swung both ways, to which she replied: “Yeah, so do I. I’m bisexual. [Sophie’s] so my type. I go for girls with big boobs, brunette and dimples.”

Seems like it was meant to be, as Sophie was left single after her Island partner Tom Powell was axed from the Island.

Katie assessed the situation in the Beach Hut: “Obviously I might have limited time in here, so I have to move quite quickly. But you can’t move too quickly because you can’t look too desperate, so you’ve got to play it cool.”

Sophie didn’t take to kindly to the fact that the other Islanders thought she’d automatically hook up with the only other bi girl: “Just because a girl has come into the house and she’s bisexual, does not mean that I’m going to straight off be in bed doing stuff with her.”

Later in the episode, Sophie began to question her relationship with Tom, hinting that she might have been fighting for something that was a lost cause.
