CESC FABREGAS has fired a warning to Chelsea's title rivals.
Cesc Fabregas has reminded Antonio Conte what he can do
The Spanish midfielder was the hero last night as the scored the only goal in Chelsea's win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Blues had to grind it out to make sure they racked up their 10th win in a row.
And while the scoreline could have been wider if they took their chances, Fabregas thinks the 1-0 shows real title pedigree from Chelsea.
Cesc Fabregas has been seizing his chances at Chelsea
He said: "You have seen many times teams win titles with 1-0 wins.
"We want to keep winning — this period in the year is important and we can say a lot.
"The only downer was that we need to kill games off when we had so many chances. But the performance was very good."
Cesc Fabregas celebrates his winner yesterday
Fabregas has been left on the sidelines for the majority of the season by boss Antonio Conte but siezed his chance with the winning strike.
And he was keen to remind people - and his boss - what he can do.
Fabregas added: "In football today people forget very, very, very quickly who you are, and what you can do.
"Hopefully now I can get a run of games in the team.
"People forget that tonight is just the second time in my life that I have played this system.
"I am getting used to it, I have lots of players in front of me in space and protection behind me."
