Boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the England striker will be in his 18-man party for the trip to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

He's been out since injuring his ankle against Sunderland in September.

But after a week of work on the training ground Kane is now ready to return.

“Yes, Harry Kane is fit,” Pochettino said. “Today I can confirm he will be available for selection for Sunday and now I need to decide if he will be part of the starting eleven.

“I was very happy with his training yesterday, he had a very good training session. It is always important everyone is fit, for us it will be very good news and it’s good that he will be back.

“But playing him would not be a risk. After two-and-a-half years we try to avoid risks. IF he is on the pitch it will be because we are sure he is ready to play. It is a contact sport and you cannot avoid risks 100 per cent, but if he is available there are no risks about his old injury.”

Tottenham have struggled without the striker.

Pochettino's men are six without a win in all competitions.

They haven't won since beating Manchester City 2-0 in early October.

A win over their bitter rivals at the Emirates would draw them level on points with joint-leaders Arsenal.

The Gunners are setting the pace along with Manchester City and Liverpool.

Tottenham are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League.

But their run of draws has seen them slide three points off the pace at the summit.

The former Chelsea boss has overseen a dire start to his reign at Old Trafford.

They are without a win in the Premier League since September and face a scrap to make it out of their Europa League group following last night's 2-1 defeat at Fenerbahce.

According to the Telegraph, Mourinho thinks he has underestimated the size of the job he has.

And he is preparing to further revamp his squad, with eight players already lined up for the chop.

Mourinho will allow fringe defenders Marcos Rojo, Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones to leave, midfielders Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick will be cut while wingers Memphis Depay and Ashley Young are also set to be moved on.

The United boss would like to get to work in the January transfer window but is expected to do the majority of his rebuilding next summer.

Schweinsteiger will be available in January, Darmian is interesting Inter Milan while Memphis could be allowed to go at the earliest opportunity.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's contract expires at the end of the season but United have the option to extend it for a further 12 months.

Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini will also enter the final year of their contracts next summer.

Man City ace Yaya Toure apologises to Pep Guardiola... but his agent refuses to say sorry

YAYA TOURE has issued an apology to Pep Guardiola in a bid to end his Manchester City exile.

Toure has made just one appearance this season - the Champions League dead-rubber against Steaua Bucharest in August.

Guardiola has refused to pick Toure until his agent Dimitri Seluk brings an end to his one-man war of words.

Seluk criticised Guardiola in April following his appointment as Manuel Pellegrini's replacement.

He continued his attack on the City boss after Toure was left out of the Champions League squad in September.

Guardiola indicated Toure could have played against Manchester United in the EFL Cup had Seluk apologised.

Toure has had enough of the situation and wrote a lengthy letter to City's management team.

He said in a statement: "I wish to apologise - on behalf of myself and those who represent me - to the management team and all those working at the club for the misunderstandings from the past.

"Those statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there.

 

Pep Guardiola has refused to pick Yaya Toure until his agent apologises

"I have nothing but respect for Manchester City and only wish the best for the football club.

"I am immensely proud to have played a part in the club's history and want to help City succeed further. I live to play football and entertain the fans.

"On that note, I would like to thank all of the fans for their messages through this difficult period. This means a great deal to me and my family."

Sensationally, Seluk questioned Toure's apology and revealed he will not be saying sorry to Guardiola.

“Maybe Toure has apologised for this, but I don't know for what. I think Yaya don’t mean this. He wants peace between him Guardiola.

“We want to make peace between Guardiola, Yaya and me for the supporters, the team and for the results.

“A player like Yaya, one of the top players in the world, with a big salary, normally doesn't stay out of the team. He must play.”

One of Daddy G.O’s media aides, Pastor Olakunmi Oyewale, told Celeb Police on Thursday November 3, 2016, after the complain got to the hierarchy of the church that is not absolutely wrong to do so if it’s not against the law of the country and if the purpose is to empower the members of the church.

“It depends on the purpose. If it’s actually to empower the people of the church, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I saw something similar to that MMM you mentioned online, facebook, but I’ve not been able to analyse it very well. If it’s not against the law and it’s not something that is dubious, but to empower the church I don’t think it’s bad because, you should understand that the church is not just about taking care of the spiritual needs of the people alone. The church cuts across every spheres of the member’s life and so far it’s not something that’s illegal or something that is not unscriptural.”

On the allegation of turning the church to a market place, Pastor Olakunmi said, “It’s not really about turning the church to a market place, people should understand that, like I said, the church is multi-faceted, and when they focused on just one aspect of member’s life and does not take care of the other aspects, then the church becomes one sided. So the church should be balanced in all areas.”

If I talk now, you people will start saying rubbish, if I call their G.O out, you people will say “touch not my anointed, saying many of these churches are leading their members to the slaughter, not the pasture.”

Chelsea striker slams club's loan policy: Why do young players get no chance?

The 21-year-old striker impressed last season, scoring four goals in 16 appearances for the Blues in the all competitions.

He also played several pre-season games and looked set for a full Premier League campaign under Antonio Conte this term.

But the new Chelsea chief decided to ship the Burkina Faso international out on loan to Ajax instead, something that left the youngster perplexed.

"I felt, and feel, that I am ready for Chelsea," Traore told the London Evening Standard.

"I did not see the loan [picture] overall. Why did I play so much in pre-season?

"Why was I allowed to participate so often under Guus Hiddink [last season]? Why do young players get no real chance at Chelsea?

"It’s good for the composition of the squad if it is also home to a couple of talented youngsters."

Traore has netted three times in 13 appearances for Dutch giants Ajax this season.

He will likely be in action again when they host Celta Vigo in the Europa League this evening.

Ajax are top of Group G in the European competition and currently three points off leaders Feyenoord in the Eredivisie table.

Traore is determined to claim silverware with the club this season and head back to Stamford Bridge on a high.

Dimitar Berbatov: Ex-Tottenham and Man United man pleads for Premier League return

FORMER Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has hinted that he wants to return to the Premier League after becoming a free agent in the summer.

The 35-year-old left Greek side PAOK in June, but believes he still has enough left in the tank to perform at the highest level in English football.

“When you've played in the Premier League you don't want to play anywhere else," he told the BBC’s Mark Chapman last night.

“It would be great for me [to be back in the Premier League], my only thing is to entertain and, as some football players have shown, there is no age in football.
