BOSNIA striker Edin Dzeko was sent off during his side’s 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw against Greece – for pulling his opponent’s shorts down.
The former Man City man chased a loose ball toward the corner flag in the Greece half, eventually being bundled to the ground by defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
Angry with Dzeko’s willingness to hit the ground, Papadopoulos attempted to wrestle the ball away from the Roma striker while he lay on the floor.
The tussle sparked a furious reaction from Dzeko – manifesting itself in the bizarre act of pulling down his Greek rival's shorts.
Trapped with his shorts around his ankles, Papadopoulos lost his balance and hit the deck as a melee of players from both sides closed in.
The bizarre incident happened in the 76th minute of the game, earning both Dzeko and Papadopoulos an early bath after receiving red cards.
A clip of the fracas has gone viral across social media since it was uploaded last night.
“What a way to get sent off!” said one viewer.
