Nidhi Chapekar, who works for India-based Jet Airways, was snapped in the aftermath of yesterday's vile terror attack.
Sick Islamic State jihadis targeted Zaventem Airport in the Belgian capital shortly after 7am UK time, killing dozens.
The photograph also showed a woman – who has not yet been identified – making a phone call with her hand soaked in blood.
Ketevan Kardava, a Brussels-based journalist, posted the image on Twitter after being caught up in the attacks.
She said: "The people I photographed were not able to run and I wasn't able to help them. It was very, very difficult for me to leave them.
"I wanted to help all of them but I couldn't. I left them. I had to – we expected a third explosion."
A spokesman for Jet Airways yesterday said: "Jet Airways guests in Brussels have been re-located to a safe location by airport authorities.
"Jet Airways staff and crew are safe. Two of our staff have been injured and receiving medical care.
"Jet Airways is closely monitoring the situation in Brussels and will provide further updates as information becomes available."
