Not less than 58 principals of post-primary schools have been served letters of query by the Benue State Teaching Service Board.

Making the disclosure yesterday, the Executive Secretary of the board, Hon. James Pine said the query had become necessary due of the poor attitude of some school principals towards work.
He explained that the board carried out their day to day activities based on records and data from schools, but some principals deliberately refused to submit their school records even after several appeals; a development he described as unhealthy.
Hon. Pine said the 58 queried principals had 48 hours to explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against them.
