BREAKING: Major US airport EVACUATED after 'suspicious package' found

HUNDREDS of passengers were evacuated from Atlanta International airport in the US over reports of an active shooter and suspicious package.
The north and south terminals at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia were closed off.
The evacuation was out of an abundance of caution, airport spokesman Reese McCranie said.
Videos emerging from the scene showed panicked passengers running in fear.
An explosives team was sent to the incident, local US reports said.
Unconfirmed reports of shooting had been shared on social media, but airport security later confirmed this was false information.
