BREAKING: Brussels attacks bomb-maker arrested as airport suicide bombers named

BRUSSELS bomb suspect Najim Laachraoui has been arrested – as two of the airport suicide bombers are named.

Laachraoui – seen wearing a white jacket, a dark hat and a light coloured shirt and pushing a trolley in Zaventem Airport – is thought to have been the chief bomb maker for the November 13 Paris Attacks, which killed 130.
He was arrested in Anderlecht, Belgium, in the early hours of this morning.
Two suicide bombers – who exploded suicide bombs at Zaventem Airport on Tuesday morning – have been named as brothers Khalid and Ibrahim El Bakraoui.
Both brothers have a criminal records – but have not been linked by the police to terrorism until now.

Raids were carried out across Brussels overnight as authorities look to shut down the killer terror cell.
A nail bomb, ISIS flag and chemicals were found at one property in Schaerbeek, in the north east of the Belgian capital.
The attacks left at least 34 people dead and injured at least 200 – including two Britons.
Salah Abdeslam – who is in custody after being charged over the Paris attacks – is also thought to have "played a part" in the Brussels attacks.

Three men have now been arrested on suspicion of terror offences on a motorway between Munich and Salzburg.
The men were said to have been Kosovans who had travelled from Brussels.
A spokesman for the Office of Criminal Police of Bavaria stressed there are is currently no evidence of links to this morning’s terror attacks and enquiries are ongoing.

Shots were fired as those responsible reportedly shouted in Arabic before two explosions ripped through the departure hall of the airport yesterday.
It is not known if Laachraoui then raced across the city to carry out the attack on Maelbeek station.
Every space in the airport is covered by four CCTV cameras – which captured the picture of the three jihadi suspects.
The image was released on Twitter as death cult ISIS claimed responsibility for the massacres.

Reports highlighted the similarity of clothing of the El Bakraoui brothers.
They both appear to be wearing a glove on their left hand only – with reports suggesting they are hiding detonators.
The picture was reportedly leaked by Belgian police hours after Brussels was crippled by two waves of terror attacks at the city’s airport and the Metro system.
The airport is closed on Wednesday as the country comes to terms with the tragedy.
