The 28-year-old former Corrie actress plays a Vestal Virgin in ancient Rome called Ursula who romps with Stylax in hilarious ITV2 show Plebs.
She reveals: “It was my first day and the first time I met Joel Fry, who plays Stylax, I was basically straddling him!
“It was one of those moments where I was really nervous but, if I am being honest, it wasn’t that bad. I was fully dressed and it wasn’t like we were throwing each other around the room and ripping our clothes off.

“Joel is such a nice, chilled out guy that he made me feel relaxed about it.
“We had a high-five thing going on; after every take we would high five and be like, ‘We did it’.”
The award-winning comedy, set in ancient Rome’s world of emperors and gladiators, follows a group of young lads from the lower classes and their riotous exploits trying to meet girls and hold down jobs.
And, despite being a huge fan of the show, the former soap star says the experience has ruined future sex scenes for her for ever.
She reveals: “It’s totally taken the edge off it! “In a way it’s lost the magic for me because any sex scene I see on TV or in the movies will not be as sensual as it looks. It’s ruined sex scenes for me forever now.
“I know what it takes to do them, the fact a camera man is probably stood right next to them and loads of people are watching: it’s weird, not sexy!
“I was a massive fan of the show before I got the part. “I tweeted about it one night and the guys tweeted me back, which was exciting.”

But the telly star says she wouldn’t turn down getting naked for another role.
She added: “I was glad being my first time that I was covered up because some sex scenes you have to be naked.
“Would I get naked? It depends what the job was, if it was an amazing job that I couldn’t turn down and really wanted, then I would because it’s all part of being an actress.”
And Michelle, who left Britain’s favourite soap Coronation Street after five years in May 2014, says she has enjoyed the transition from soap stardom to drama in BBC’s Ordinary Lies and upcoming Our Girl, and now her first comedy role in Plebs.
“I’ve always done bits and bobs but this is my first proper comedy,” she says.
“Even in Corrie the comedy scenes I got to do, I really enjoyed. So it was something I wanted to do when I left.”
Down-to-earth Manchester lass Michelle even says she finds it hilarious when cheeky comedian Keith Lemon pokes fun at her marriage to ex-Towie star Mark Wright in a spoof for his sketch show.

“I’ve seen it and it’s hilarious,” she says. “I love Keith, we get on really well and I actually feel quite flattered to even be included in his sketch show. That’s how I see it.
“Mark thinks it’s hilarious too. He doesn’t want to be like Craig David in Bo Selecta, but he’s fine with it, he laughs at it.
“I know Emily Atak as well who plays me, we’ve known each other for quite a few years, so she actually phoned me up and warned me about it. She was like, ‘Listen, I am playing you in this show, I hope you don’t mind’. “I was like, ‘Do I heck! It’s funny, go for it, it’s fine’.”

Michelle married Essex lad Mark in 2015 and moved down south to live with him. And she says despite their hectic showbiz schedules they are blissfully happy in their new life together.
“We just make each other laugh over normal things really,” she grins.
“He’s got really good banter. “I think that’s the best way really, being married to your best friend.”
Plebs returns to ITV2 on April 4th.
