Arsenal open talks with two legends over return to the club

TONY ADAMS could be heading back to Arsenal.

Arsenal legends Tony Adams and Thierry HenryRETURNS: Adams and Henry could be heading back to Arsenal
The Gunners legend has reportedly held talks with club officials over a coaching role.
Adams failed to impress in management roles at Wycombe and Portsmouth.
But he’s still regarded as a good coach, with the Daily Mirror reporting the former Arsenal and England captain has already taken some sessions at the club’s training ground.
They add talks are underway to make Adams a permanent face in a new-look coaching team.
He’d have responsibility for the club’s Under-18s if a deal for his return is agreed.
Fellow Gunners legend Thierry Henry is also wanted back at the club, and it’s claimed Arsenal have started negotiations with the Frenchman over a possible coaching role.
Adams’ last managerial role was at Azerbaijani side Gabala in 2011.
He now occupies a sporting director position at the club, which he would likely need to give up to take on the academy job at Arsenal.
Henry is a pundit for Sky Sports and has been working for the BBC at Euro 2016.
With the academy role not taking up as much time as a position in Arsene Wenger’s senior set-up, there is scope for the club legend to combine both roles.
