DIFFERENT BEDS: Sophie tells Tom she doesn't want to sleep in the same bed

After bickering for days, Sophie has suggested that she doesn’t want to sleep in the same bed as Tom.

It came after he threatened to leave the show after his ex-girlfriend was unleashed into the villa.

On Tuesday’s episode, Sophie made the shock announcement to Tom, who initially thought she was joking.

He did his best to reassure her that he wouldn’t make any moves if she wasn’t ready: “So far I haven’t even tried a thing. I’ve got enough will power. If you don’t want anything to happen, I’ll make sure nothing happens.”

Later in the Beach Hut, Soph reveals that it’s all a test: “In all honesty, putting him in a bed outside tonight is kind of a test.

“I wanted to see if he would respect me, respect my wishes, and see if he would do it without complaint, and without throwing his dummies out the pram. Distance makes the heart grow fonder.”

Her test appeared to work with Tom bringing her breakfast in bed the following morning.

She seemed thrilled, revealing: “I’m not going to lie; I did miss Tom being in bed with me last night. He’s really, really grafting. I like this Tom.”

In a conversation with pal Adam Maxted, Tom explained his kind gesture: “I brought her breakfast to show her I wasn’t angry or upset or whatever.

“If she doesn’t want me, she doesn’t want me and there’s nothing I can do about it. At least I can say I’ve tried and if I’ve gone through all this effort to show I’ve changed and she still doesn’t want me, then I can accept that.”

Can the pair move past their problems?
