Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea: Belgium star undergoing medical in Bordeaux

MICHY BATSHUAYI is undergoing his Chelsea medical in Bordeaux, reports claim.

According to beIN Sports journalist Julien Chaput, a Blues doctor has travelled to France to conduct his physical examination.

Chaput tweeted: "Michy Batshuayi currently passes his medical examination in a Bordeaux clinic with 1 doctor from Chelsea who has made the trip!"

The Belgium forward, who netted against Hungary on Sunday, fuelled speculation by following Chelsea on Twitter, along with The FA and the Premier League.

Starsport understands that the Blues are no longer interested in bringing Everton talisman Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.

They have instead opted for Batshuayi, 22, and have agreed a £33.2m for the striker, who will sign a five-year contract in West London, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
