FOOTIE thugs have reportedly clashed in Lille city centre – hours before Germany and Ukraine kick off their Euro 2016.

NOT AGAIN: German and Ukraine fans fought this afternoon in Lille
The incident happened around Lille city centre when around 150 German hooligans fought with Ukraine footie fans, Bild reports.
This was confirmed by deputy head of German fan projects, Vilker Goll.
"The French police has intervened very late," he said.
Bottles, chairs and smoke bombs were all thrown by thugs as they brawled, according to reports.
It is believed the fans have moved on now.

The French government wants to ban alcohol in "sensitive areas" during the tournament.
The opening rounds of matches have marred by running battles between fans.
It has long been feared hooligans could ruin Europe's landmark competition.
The fighting comes after three days of violence in Marseille between French Ultras, Russian and English fans.
UEFA has threatened to boot out both nations following the incident.
According to the German media, today's violence is not on the same scale as in Marseille.
