Man United boss Jose Mourinho keen to keep Ashley Young at Old Trafford

MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho has told Ashley Young he has a future at the club, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror claim the Special One has assured the England winger he has a place in the squad.

The 30-year-old had been tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer as part of Mourinho's overhaul of the side he inherited from Louis van Gaal.

And another Red Devils stalwart - Michael Carrick - signed a new one-year deal at the club today.

The midfielder said: “This great club has been a part of my life for the past 10 years so I am delighted this incredible journey is continuing.
