Stephanie Davis brands Jez 'toxic' in fiery return to social media

JUST when you think Stephanie Davis may have found peace over her Jeremy McConnell heartbreak, she goes and slams him on Instagram.

The pregnant star stormed off of social media for a much need breather after months of infidelity speculation and trolling.

But the former Hollyoaks actress clearly couldn't keep away, posting a less than subtle dig at the Irish hottie.

"When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you," the quote she shared read.

"The misinformation will feel unfair, but stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth, just like you did."

Because lashing out online is definitely staying above it.

*Sigh*

In the accompanying caption, Steph added: "Never read anything so true. Ah so relaxed and breathing easy.

"Can't wait to see friends, me my beautiful bump and laughs not stopped."

It didn't take long for the babe's 516,000 followers to wade into the fray.

"Jeremy you're a dirty dog on heat," one fan fumed

"Well said girl, he let us Irish down, you're a beautiful young lady and he deserves trash," another added.

"All he cares about is what's between his legs," a third chimed in.

The public rallying around Stephanie Davis? We've seen it all now.

Jez continues to deny that his the father of Steph's baby, despite her claims.

"Look, if she is pregnant it's not my kid. She had her period. We had been broken up," he told Ireland TV Now magazine.
