TABLOID regular Stephanie Davis has found herself at the centre of yet another scandal after being accused of drinking alcohol while pregnant.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star had appeared to be getting her life back on track after her ridiculously messy break-up from Jeremy McConnell.
However, it seems drama follows Steph wherever she goes after being snapped chugging from a suspicious looking pint glass in her local pub.
Taking to Twitter, the actress admitted to hitting up her local boozer though insisted she kept to soft drinks only.
"Fresh orange and a nice day," she wrote followed by the hashtags: "beer garden" and "happy."
Though no sooner did the star's message hit the web was she accused of blurring the truth.
"Wouldn't say you was drinking fresh orange," one user wrote, along with a snap of Steph drinking the unknown liquid out of a pint glass.
Not one to keep quite the newly brunette gal hit back: "Scouser selling there own trying to ruin me to The Sun.
"Sip of my mates drink clearly not a boozy night out. Sad. Laughing. Over my head. [sic]"
When one fan responded claiming she shouldn't be drinking at all, even if it is just a sip, the frank gal replied: "True your right, was only a sip of shandy but your right.[sic]"
According to the NHS, chief medical officers for the UK recommend that if you’re pregnant then the safest approach is not to drink alcohol at all, due to the fact drinking in pregnancy can lead to long-term harm to the baby.
The latest faux-pas comes just days after Steph claimed she is better off being a single mum than with Jez.
In now deleted tweets, the star wrote: "Just watched How To Be Single, cracking film, ladies get onto it.
"The time was have to be single is time to be good alone, on your own, and I've finally mastered that.
"I may be on my own yeah but it's better to be alone than chance people who don't care. I'm gonna be a brill momma."
Meanwhile, a source close to the actress told Daily Star Online: "Steph is in such a good place right now, she's feeling amazing and excited about some exciting projects she has coming up.
"It's so nice to see Stephanie back to the bubbly happy girl that we all love and know, we've missed her.
"We knew we would get her back and it's so nice to see her smiling, laughing and excited about becoming a mum, she looks radiant, pregnancy obviously suits her."
