Real Madrid ready to offload star: Man United could swoop

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly been given the green light to sign Real Madrid star Raphael Varane.

WANTED: Raphael Varane
The Sun claim the La Liga giants have decided to listen to offers for the centre-back.
It's suggested United boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the France international.
And the Portuguese might have been handed a huge boost as he looks to bolster his squad this summer.Sergio Ramos and Pepe are established as Zinedine Zidane's first-choice pairing.
Real have reportedly decided to cash in on the 23-year-old as they embark on a summer clear-out at the Bernabeu.
And it's claimed the Galacticos are keen to offload the defender.
Varane is currently recovering from a knee injury that scuppered his chances of playing at Euro 2016.
Mourinho has already swooped for one defender from La Liga since taking the reins at Old Trafford.
He snapped up Eric Bailly from Villarreal in a £30million deal earlier this month.
