ODDS on Julian Draxler joining Manchester United this summer have been slashed following a huge amount of bets on a potential deal.
Bookmaker Bwin acted quick to cut prices on the transfer after the flurry of bets last night.
Starsport revealed at the weekend at United have made a £30m move for the 22-year-old.
Draxler, who has been frequently linked with a move to England in the past, made the switch from Schalke for Wolfsburg last summer.
Jose Mourinho was interested in Draxler during his time at Chelsea but failed to lure the winger to England.
Now the Portuguese boss is keen again and the bookies suggest the deal could be on.
Bwin posted a statement on their website, saying: "The Deutschland branch of bwin have been forced to cut the firm’s odds on Draxler moving to Man Utd from 11/1 to 3/1 after being inundated with bets on the transfer taking place."
Glenn Woodage, a bookmaker at Bwin, said: “Interest in Draxler is rising and the betting suggests long-term admirer Mourinho doesn’t want to see a rival European heavyweight lure the German wonderboy away from United’s clutches.
