YOU would think Arsenal would know a bit about Granit Xhaka, given they splashed out £34m on him.
By Jack Wilson
Well, it appears not...
In an article published on their official website today, the Gunners repeatedly spell their new man’s name wrong!
The piece entitled Arsenal Analysis casts a close eye over Xhaka and his midfield abilities.
It reads: “Often Arsenal have used talented playmakers in a deep midfield role, forcing them to develop the defensive side of their game. But Xkaha is largely the opposite: a feisty tackler increasingly adept on the ball.”
So that’s one mistake. Xhaka, not Xkaha.
And it continues…
“The most obvious midfield partner for Xkaha in Arsenal’s usual 4-2-3-1 formation would be Santi Cazorla,” the story reads.
Two mentions of Xkaha. And there’s still time for more.
Arsenal add: “There’s no reason to think Wenger can’t use Xkaha in a defensive-minded duo alongside Francis Coquelin or Mohamed Elneny.”
Granit Xhaka… or is it Xkaha? Remember the name.
