MANCHESTER United boss Jose Mourinho and Chelsea football club have reached a settlement over constructive dismissal claims.
SETTLED: Jose Mourinho arrived at the tribunal today and was expected to give evidence
In a dramatic turn of events, the pair were locked in a room as journalists waited with baited breath for the tribunal to begin at 2pm this afternoon.
She earlier rejected a £1.2 million settlement out of court, according to legal documents, but in an apparent u-turn, has decided to accept an undisclosed agreement.

Explosive court documents revealed demands of a 40% wage increase to £400,000 to remain at the club.
The case was expected to last seven to 10 days and could have led to potentially embarrassing witness statements and documents - including texts and emails - being made public.
But a judge confirmed that all three parties had managed to reach a settlement behind locked doors at the London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon.
Carneiro later said in a statement: "I am relieved that today we have been able to conclude this tribunal case.
"It has been an extremely difficult and distressing time for me and my family and I now look forward to moving forward with my life.
"My priority has always been the health and safety of the players and fulfilling my duty of care as a doctor.
"In running onto the pitch to treat a player, who requested medical attention, I was following the rules of the game and fulfilling my medical responsibilities.
"I would like to thank everyone who has supported me including my husband, family and friends and members of the football community."
Mourinho earlier admitted to swearing at Dr Carneiro during a match – but denied sexism.
He was accused of calling the former first team medic a "daughter of a whore" in Portuguese, according to documents read out at the tribunal yesterday.
He instead claimed he yelled "son of a bitch" in a written statement.
Dr Carneiro also claimed constructive dismissal against Chelsea FC following the on-pitch swear furore.
She left football club shortly after the Chelsea played Swansea City on August 8 last year when she went to treat Eden Hazard – leaving the team down to nine men temporarily.
Following the match she appeared notably absent from the bench.
The amount of compensation following the negotiations will remain confidential, the football club said.
Chelsea released a statement saying it "regretted the circumstances" which led to former club doctor Eva Carneiro leaving the club and "apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused".

It added that Jose Mourinho thanked Dr Carneiro for the "excellent and dedicated support" she provided and wished her a "successful career".
The ex manager did not show up for the opening day of case and did not issue an apology following this afternoon's roundtable.
But Chelsea supported Mourinho – who was cleared of using discriminatory language towards Carneiro following an investigation by the Football Association.
He was sacked and replaced by Guus Hiddink in November.
