FRANK Skinner will not be watching England’s crunch game with Wales on Thursday – because he is starring in a musical.
But he is too busy treading the boards with fellow luvvies to support Wayne Rooney and co these days.
He said he would be rehearsing his part in My Fair Lady when Roy’s Boys take on the Welsh on Thursday afternoon.
The movie version, starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison, was a smash hit in 1964.
Frank, 59, revealed on his Absolute Radio show: “My pal David Baddiel said to me: ‘Shall we watch England v Wales together?’
“I said: ‘I can’t because I’ve got a rehearsal for My Fair Lady’... that is how my life has changed!”
Frank plays dancing dustman Alfred P. Doolittle in a 60th anniversary concert of the musical at St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden, London, on June 19, alongside Kara Tointon, 32.
He said: “I’m supporting this event because on a selfish level I realise it’s probably my only chance to play Doolittle.”
