Kim Kardashian calls for gun control following Orlando nightclub shooting

KIM Kardashian has shared her views following the tragedy in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.

, leaving 50 people dead and 53 brutally injured.
The 35-year-old reality star took to her social media to send love to the victims, but also to beg Congress to enforce stricter gun control laws.
She wrote to her 45 million followers: "I'm truly at a loss for words.
"To everyone in Orlando affected by this massacre, my thoughts, love & prayers are with you."

She accompanied her tweet with the different coloured heart emojis, showing support for the LGBT community.
Kim explained to her followers: "Under current federal law people on terror watch lists can legally buy guns — this is called the Terror Gap.
"We have repeatedly called on Congress to close this loophole that makes it easy for dangerous people to get guns & kill.
"Nothing has changed!!!! People continue to senselessly die. When will these gun laws be changed!??!?!!??!?!?"

He had reportedly purchased firearms less than two weeks ago.
Kim's sister Khloé also took to Twitter, writing: "50 dead. 53 inured. Saddended and horrified at heart, praying for each victim and the ones who cherish them!
"Each one was adored by God, we all grieve. These tragedies have to stop! Pray for our world! Pray for peace! #Orlando."
Katy Perry also took to her social media, to say: "I just can't believe this is the world we live in today."

While Ariana Grande said: "How how how how can one have so much hate ????? My heart...... is so broken. Praying for the families of the Orlando victims. I am so sorry."

Former X Factor judge Cheryl also added: "What is wrong with the world so incredibly sad. Prayers to the victims and loved ones #Orlando."
This is the worst mass shooting in American history.
Hundreds of people are set to father on Old Compton Street in London, tonight, as venues in the area will be encouraging customers to join the vigil starting at 7pm.
A Facebook page set up for the event has seen more than 2,000 people confirm their attendance.
