HOLLYWOOD star Angelina Jolie shot her first topless scene following a double mastectomy to prove she has “nothing to hide”.
The actress says her naked scenes with real-life husband Brad Pitt in romantic flick By The Sea were written before her breast op – but she was determined to make the movie.
Mum-of-six Ange, 40, had the surgery three years ago after learning she had an 87% chance of developing the deadly disease due to a defective gene which meant her mum, gran and aunt all died of breast or ovarian cancer.
But Ange, who then had breast reconstruction surgery, said the scene in which she and Brad, 52, get intimate in a bath was “a test of our bond”.
She said: “The scenes were written before I had the mastectomy, and then I realised I was shooting the film.
“It did cross my mind to cut certain things, but I felt that was wrong. That’s hiding something, and I don’t believe in that.”
Ange revealed last year she had also had her ovaries removed to ward off cancer.
By The Sea, produced and directed by Ange, hit UK cinemas last month and is the couple’s first film together since Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005, when they reportedly got together while Pitt was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston, 46.
