Liverpool rocked after launching £25m bid for Chelsea transfer target

LIVERPOOL'S hamstring injury curse is spreading… and it's now affecting their transfer business!
HAMMY BLOW: Alex Teixeira injured his hamstring just hours after Liverpool's bid.
Jurgen Klopp complained the leg muscle is "the sh*t word of the year for me" after losing a host of players to injury.
And their hamstring horrors have worsened after top transfer target Alex Teixeira limped out of training with a hamstring problem.
The editor-in-chief of Russian outlet Sport-Express revealed Teixeira suffered the injury after Liverpool submitted their offer.
"Alex Teixeira pulled his hamstring soon after Liverpool made a bid," Artur Petrosyan tweeted. "This is not a joke. Repeat: this is not a joke.
"It happened during his last training [session] with Shakhtar in USA a few hours before Ian Ayre got on the plane."
Teixeira missed last night's 3-2 friendly defeat against Corinthians.
