Following the controversy in the Kogi chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Abiodun Faleke has given reasons why he refused to attend today's inauguration of the state's new governor
Abiodun Faleke
Following the absence Abiodun Faleke at the inuaguration of Yahaya Bello as the new governnor of Kogi State, the former deputy governorship candidate has spoken out.
An aggrieved Faleke who was expected to accept the deputy governorship position under Bello was a guest on Channels TV news on Wednesday evening.
He told the news anchor that the reason he was not at the inuaguration was because he was not a running mate to Bello, and there was therefore no need for him to be present.
Faleke also mentioned that the party's choice of Bello to replace the late Abubakar Audu as the party's candidate was a wrong step because Bello had earlier lost in the primaries to him (Faleke) and Audu.
Faleke also reiterated his stand to seek redress in the court of law in order to finally get his due.
Bello was today, Wednesday, January 27 inuagurated as the governor of the middle-belt state.
