Kidnapped Christ Embassy Pastor, Others Released

A Christ Embassy Pastor who was abducted Monday morning alongside 11 others in a commercial speed boat in Bayelsa has been freed. The Pastor and other passengers were freed after 15 hours in the kidnappers' den. While narrating what happened, the Pastor said, the kidnappers had thought they were important personalities and that was the reason they were kidnapped so they could demand ransom from their family members. He said when they got to their den, they questioned them about what they do for a living and he told them he was a Pastor while others said they were civil servants. After so many investigations, they found out it was true and they took them near a fishing point at around
11pm, where they eventually made their way home. It was not a pleasant experience, the Pastor said.
