CHELSEA are upping the ante in their pursuit of Juventus attacker Alvaro Morata, according to reports.
The Guardian say the Blues are planning to make progress in signing the 23-year-old before Spain kick-off their European campaign next week.
According to their report, Antonio Conte targeted the Spain international when he was in charge at Juve and is interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge next season.
Buying Morata is not likely to be straightforward though, as Real Madrid look set to exercise the £23m buy-back clause in his contract before selling him on for a profit this summer.
