BORUSSIA DORTMUND boss Thomas Tuchel was keen to move on after his side’s loss to Liverpool, saying “s*** happens”.
The Bundesliga side scored twice inside the first nine minutes at Anfield to take a 3-1 aggregate lead in the Europa League quarter-final tie.
And they missed numerous chances to extend their lead before Divock Origi gave the Reds hope early in the second half.
Marco Reus struck on the 57th-minute to seemingly book Dortmund’s place in the final four, but Liverpool went on to stage one of the most remarkable comebacks Anfield has ever seen.
Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho scored in quick succession before Dejan Lovren headed home in stoppage time to dump Dortmund out of the competition.
And Tuchel was left ruing his side’s missed chances, saying: "There was no individual part of the puzzle that did not fit. Actually a lot worked very well today.
"After falling behind early Liverpool had to take a lot of risks. We were on the verge of taking a three-goal lead on several occasions.
