The Germany international was substituted with 10 minutes left of the match which the Reds won 4-3 to progress to the Europa League semi-finals.

Jurgen Klopp’s men had been 2-0 and 3-1 down before a frantic second-half ended with Anfield in a frenzy celebrating another historic European night.
