WATCH: Castaway 'hours from death' found on desert island by Brit TV crew

A DESPERATE man had said his finally prayers and made peace with the fact he was about to die – alone and abandoned on a desert island.

The roofer, known only as Tremine, had been stranded for nearly three days in a rocky cove while fishing for oysters.
He had been trying to survive in the 43C heat but had quickly become dehydrated and was too weak too look for water or food.

Amazingly a Brit TV crew were visiting the remote and uninhabited group of islands off the coast of Australia.
Presenter Jeremy Wade, who heads up wildlife documentary River Monsters, was in a boat searching for the rare giant grouper fish.
His team weren't actually supposed to be in that area but had moved after the waters became "too choppy".
"As we're heading to the fishing grounds we encounter a situation which stops us in our tracks," Jeremy said.
