THIS is the unbelievable moment asurfer gets thrown into the water after a head on collision with a shark.
Maximo Trinidad was out on his surfboard when he first saw the creature heading towards him.
Horrified by his inevitable collision with the beast, the incredible footage caught on a GoPro he had attached to the front of his board shows the surfer being tossed into the water, just metres from the shark.
Luckily Mr Trinidad managed to come away without any damage, and did not see the shark again once he hit the water.

Instead the surfer got back on his board and continued on his way.
The adrenaline junkie from Florida said: “It was awesome, I was not even scared.”
But luckily for him this is one shark that may not have wanted to make a meal out of the surfer.
While Spinner sharks may look threatening they don’t see humans as a potential source of food.

A spokesperson for a Florida wildlife conservation group said: “Experts believe that most shark attacks are cases of mistaken identity, which explains why nearly all shark attacks that occur in Florida waters are of a bite-and-release nature,' the commission said.
Figures show 30 of America’s 59 shark attacks last year took place in Florida, while only one of them was fatal.
Meanwhile Mr Trinidad hasn’t been put off from getting back in the ocean.
His wife said: “Nothing's gonna ever stop that man from going into the water.”
