Extreme eater reveals ripped physique is result of 10,000 calorie meals

THE UK's top competitive eater achieved the body of his dreams by gorging on junk food.

Adam Moran used to have a protruding beer belly and love handles, but now he’s the proud owner of a ripped physique.
And the 30-year-old credit his muscular form to gorging on 10,000 calorie meals.
The YouTube vlogger who goes by the name BeardMeatsFood online has amassed more than 4,000 followers by taking part in weekly competitive eating challenges.

He said: "I started doing meal challenges when I wanted to get really ripped because it helps you lose weight.
"When you diet for a long period of time your body gets to a point where it won't lose any more weight.
"That's why bodybuilders have 'cheat meals' because it helps their bodies recover with all the protein. It also gives you energy to want to go and train and without it I wouldn't have got the body I wanted."
Adam has shed 1.5st and sliced his body fat from an unhealthy 25% down to just 8%.

He said: ”I haven't actually lost that much weight but I've lost a lot of fat and replaced that with muscle so I've made a big difference to my body.
"I'm a qualified personal trainer so I know that things that I can do and get away with. For instance if you're training you can get away with having a binge once a week and it not affecting you.
"If your maintenance calories are 3,500 and you eat 10,000 in one sitting you have to allow for that.
"When I'm not in a competition I eat healthily and only have one meal a day."
Despite his ripped body, the eating champion hardly ever does cardio.

When he’s preparing for a big competition, he sometimes does 30 minutes of gentle exercise on the cross trainer but otherwise he opts for weights and one meal a day.
He typically eats a 3,500 calorie dish which includes vegetables, 1kg of yoghurt, four Wheatabix, jelly, peanut butter and four pieces of fresh white fish.
Adam said: "When you diet for so long you learn to eat a lot of food but not necessarily bad food.
"That is how you develop your capacity. I was always an overweight kid and started weight training when I was around 25.
"I wasn't in shape and wanted to get ripped and like the way I looked. I went to the gym six times a week for two hours at a time.
"I train all my muscles twice a week, except my legs."
The bearded eater previously set an unofficial world record by clowing down on 155 McDonald's chicken nuggets in under 50 minutes.
But he says eating challenges aren’t as unhealthy as people think.
He said: "I understand nutrition and what you can and cannot eat. When you know what you can get away with it means that you can do challenges like this and it have no negative affect on your body.
"I'm not eating this food every day and the rest of the time I'm healthy so my inside's are clean
