CHAMP: Anthony Joshua took down Charles Martin thanks to his relentless regime
Incorporating a mix of cardio, strength training and sparring, he always focuses on his core, glutes and legs because that’s the foundation of his power.
Anthony has been training for the biggest fight of his life since January and he’s even taken up learning Spanish to stimulate his mind when he’s not working out.
The unbeaten Olympic gold medalist has three sparring partners who try and beat him to a pulp but he says the process is character-building because “no-one wants to get punched in the face”.
On an average day, Antony wakes up at the crack of dawn and does 40 minutes of cardio like swimming, running or biking.
Then he does two hours at a strength and conditioning centre before having a rest and hitting the boxing gym.
Speaking at his pre-fight press conference, Anthony said: "If he wants to box, we can box.
"If he wants to fight, we can fight. We're not here to play games. We're here to go to war.
"There are going to be two generals in there and the one with the best army wins."
He added: "I'm prepared to swim through deep waters. I'm prepared to take two to give him five.
"I'm going out there to try and stop him. I won't change. I want to maintain my knockout ratio. People want to see blood.
"They want to see someone get chopped down like a tree until they can't take no more."
