THIS is the incredible moment an eight-month-old girl was pulled alive from the rubble after two devastating killer earthquakes rocked Japan.
Nine people were killed and dozens trapped after a 6.4 magnitude quake struck Kumamoto on Thursday.
Rescue crews spent the night searching for survivors under collapsed buildings – including this little girl's home.
Firefighters were trawling through the rubble when they heard a baby's cry at around 3.45am (local time).
Emergency crews rushed to the spot and using heavy machinery were able to pry the tiny baby from the debris.
MIRACLE: The little girl was sleeping when her house collapsed
The tot was completely unharmed, according to local news.
It is unclear where her parents are.
Kumamoto's residents will be waking up with no power this morning after the two earth-shattering tremors.
TRAGIC: Nine are believed to have been killed in the quake
Some 16,000 households were left without electricity and 38,000 homes have no gas supplies in Kumamoto.
The first tremor hit at about 9.26pm local time and a second hit just a few hours later.
Shocking footage from inside Japanese NHK newsroom showed journalists dropping to the floor as the building shakes during the first quake.
There are fears that a mega-quake could be on the way after SIX tremors struck in Asia within 48 hours.
