TWO movie stars have died after a helicopter stunt went horribly wrong.
Indian actors Anil Kumar and Uday Raghav were filming their latest movie when they jumped into a reservoir.
But neither actor resurfaced after the stunt and are now presumed dead.Duniya Vijay – a third actor – managed to survive the terrifying ordeal, which occurred in the Thippagondanahalli Reservoir near Bangalore, India on Sunday (November 6).According to India Today, neither actor knew how to swim and producers behind the project now face a criminal investigation.TRAGIC: Two Indian actors drowned after a helicopter stunt went wrongStuntwoman Geeta Tandon told the news programme: “We don’t know who is at fault here and who lied.“Those who don’t know swimming, we don’t allow them.”After scouring the treacherous water in a boat, rescue workers failed to find the actors.India Today obtained images showing the actors and stuntmen boarding the chopper just moments before the tragic incident.HORRIFIC: Uday Raghav (left) with Anil Kumar (right)Dr Chandra Gupt, Ramanagara Superintendent of Police, said: “The rescue operations are still going on.“We will be booking a case of negligence against those responsible and also inquire into all aspects of the case.”The action movie is reportedly based around the life of Vijay.It is part of southern India’s “Kannada” film industry and is one of more than 100 produced every year in the country.
