Southampton’s Serbian midfielder broke his nose in a collision with Wales defender Neil Taylor on Saturday during their 1-1 draw.
Despite blood pouring from the wound, Tadic finished the game and insisted he wants to play both for his country if picked in tomorrow night’s friendly against the Ukraine, and for Saints when he returns to the Premier League.
“If I can play, I will play with a mask,” said the 27-year-old.

“Serbia people are not soft. The nose does not matter, if the coach wants me to play, I will play.
“They filled my nose with cotton buds to stop the bleeding, and I couldn’t breathe or anything, and I also couldn’t see so good.
“But that does not matter when you are playing a game when you want to fight for your country. You cannot leave your team-mates without you.
“It was a hard collision, but the referee said it was not a foul and that is ok. I saw Taylor after the game and he asked how I was. It was no problem.”
JOE GOMEZ played 45 minutes in his first game in 13 months after knee and Achilles injuries as Liverpool beat Accrington Stanley 5-0 in a friendly.
