CHELSEA have hit out at FIFA boss Gianni Infantino for criticising their loan policy.
Infantino spoke out this week about clubs who "hoard" players and "park" them with other clubs.
But a Chelsea spokesman said: "If his comments are directed our way, it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how our loan strategy works because it has player development at its core.
"We'd welcome him paying us a visit so we can show how our system works.”
It is understood Chelsea would be willing to send Cesc Fabregas out to join their legion of loan players in January.
But Conte said today: "For now, we are at the start of November and it's important to look at the present and build something in the present that's important for the future.
"Now it's important he recovers very well, finds the right form to come back with us, and stays with us and the team.”
Fabregas is currently out with a thigh injury but should return after the international break.
