Speculation is rife the despot leader of the secretive state wants to invade South Korean territory after he was pictured yesterday visiting military units on North Korea's Kali and Jangjae islands.
These are just a stones throw away from two South Korean islands that North Korea shelled in a vicious attack in 2010.
On Sunday, Kim was spotted on a dinghy with military officials.

Another photo showed him examining a map of Baeknyeong island, which is considered a massively important strategic area.
North Korea's official state media, KCNA, said the Kali military barracks is a "new base established under [Kim's] strategic planning."
It apparently contains multiple rocket launchers.

KCNA also said Kim stared at South Korean islands through binoculars and was given information on a "shared mission of striking Yeonpyeong Island".
The state-run news source added: “He [Kim] mounted an observation post where he learned in detail about the deployment of artillery pieces and combat readiness after being briefed on the firepower strike plan of the detachment.
It comes as the US confirmed North Korea has practised launches of numerous nuclear-capable missiles.
