Massive 60ft sinkhole swallows ENTIRE road in apocalyptic clip

UNBELIEVABLE footage that could have been taken from a sci-fi film shows the catastrophic moment a major road in Japan disappeared into a giant sinkhole.
By Zoe Drewett
The dramatic clip – filmed by a witness from a nearby skyscraper – shows the road collapsing into a cloud of dust.
The road, outside Hakata Station in Fukuoka City, began to divide into two parts at around 5am on November 8 in Japan – 8pm on November 7 in the UK.
Each gaping hole measured 33ft deep and 50ft wide and caused a major power cut in the surrounding buildings.
Officials quickly got people surrounding the sinkhole to evacuate the area.
But many who were trapped in buildings nearby posted photos of the scene on social media, warning others to stay away.

Suddenly, with traffic closed around the major intersection, the remaining road caved in – creating one giant crater from the two gaping holes.
The sinkhole left behind now reportedly measures 66ft in width and depth.
Morning news programmes on Japanese TV broadcast the terrifying footage of the incident.
Street poles can be seen falling into the pit along with water rushing out from pipes beneath the road’s surface.
According to the Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau, the road cave-in occurred after water began flowing beneath the surface during underground tunnel excavation work to extend the Nanakuma subway line.

There have so far been no reports of injuries or fatalities.
Back in August, nightmare footage showed the moment
And in Guiyang, China, earlier this year.
