A CHEMICAL plant has been rocked by a massive explosion.
Emergency crews are dealing with a major incident in China’s Jingjiang province after a major blast ripped through a chemical storage.
Thick black plumes of smoke and flames can be seen for miles around.
It is not known if anyone has been killed or seriously injured in the blast.
It comes just months after another chemical plant explosion hit China.
Two gas tanks exploded at the Jiangsu Tak Warehousing Company at around 8am local time, according to Chinese media.
The plant is understood to be around a kilometre away from a housing estate.
Around 33 fire fighters and army personel are at the scene.
