Liverpool move for midfielder at risk as rivals ready new offer

NAPOLI are refusing to give up on Piotr Zielinski as the Udinese midfielder's proposed move to Liverpool continues to stall.

NOT GIVING UP: Napoli are preparing a new bid for Piotr ZIelinski
The Reds have been linked with the 22-year-old throughout the summer and tabled a £9.5m bid earlier this month.
Last week, Football Italia claimed the Poland international was set to have a medical on Merseyside once his participation at Euro 2016 was over.
But Gianluca Di Marzio reports that a deal is not close and Napoli are ready to renew their efforts to sign him.
Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis claimed at the start of this month that he had agreed a fee with Udinese to sign Zielinski but the player was refusing to join.
But Di Marzio states that Napoli will now offer £10.8m plus full-back Juan Zuniga and further add-ons.
Zielinski's agent has previously said that themidfielder has no intention of moving to Naples.
Bartlomiej Bolek said: "To be honest, there is no chance that the player can go to Napoli."
However, Zielinski has been urged to join Napoli by the club president of Empoli, where he spent the last two seasons on loan.
“I would advise Zielinski to join Maurizio Sarri at Napoli," Fabrizio Corsi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
"That’s nothing against Klopp, who has been talking to the player since January.
“Therefore Liverpool moved forward, including in the head of the lad, who now has it in his mind to be in the Premier League.”
