CHINA has warned its women to avoid “handsome westerners” as they could be spies – using a bizarre set of cartoons.
Officials launched the bizarre "Dangerous Love” campaign – showing the dangers of trusting western men.
Beijing claimed it needs to educate their female staff on how to keep the country's secrets.
The poster features a young Chinese civil servant named Xiao Li meeting a dashing red-haired foreign man called David.
The scenario sees Li invited to a "foreign friend's" dinner party by another woman.
David then seduces her with compliments, flowers and romantic walks in the park.
But Li doesn't realise he is a foreign spy – and reveals to him she works China's central policies.
He persuades her to show him official papers and allows him to take a copy.
David then stops speaking to Li, with the final image showing the Chinese woman sitting in handcuffs before two cops who tell her the foreign man is in fact a spy.
A cop said in the final image: "You are suspected of violating our nation's law.”
