JORGE MENDES is set for talks with Ed Woodward over Jose Mourinho's prospects of becoming Manchester United's next manager.

TALKS: Mourinho's agent is set to speak with United
It's claimed the Portuguese super agent will contact the United executive vice-chairman after claims Louis van Gaal may keep his job.
Mourinho had been widely expected to replace Van Gaal at Old Trafford next season.
Reports from Spain claim a deal in principle is in place for the ex-Chelsea man to take the reigns this summer.
And according to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho has asked Mendes to make sure he's still in line for the role.
United have closed to within a point of fourth-place Manchester City after back-to-back wins in the top flight.
Along with the upturn in form, club bosses have shown their support for Van Gaal by including him in their pre-season plans.
Reports in the Dutch press also claim the veteran coach will be allowed to see out the final season of his three-year contract.
And according to the MEN, that will lead to Mendes picking up the phone and asking Woodward where Mourinho stands.
It's claimed after February's dismal Europa League defeat to Midtjylland, United officials contacted Mendes to make sure Mourinho wasn't thinking of a return to former club Inter Milan.
