The Kop boss gave his rallying cry ahead of tonight’s Europa League quarter-final second leg at Anfield.

The tie is finely poised at 1-1 after last week’s first leg in Germany.

And Klopp said: “It is always about being brave, but especially against a high quality team.

“With each passing play, with each offensive action they grow up and attack and you can become smaller and smaller and smaller.

“So it is really important you have your own moments and show them.

“Being brave is always one of the most important things always in football.”

Liverpool shocked tournament favourites Dortmund in the first leg with Divock Origi opening the scoring before Mats Hummels equalised.

The feeling in Germany is that Klopp’s former side under-performed.

Klopp said: “It is clear for Dortmund that they thought perhaps they’d have an easier time of it in the first game, and it was a surprise it didn’t turn out like that.

“We are aware of the capabilities of Dortmund. We know they can do better, but so can we.”

Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel believes his side will deliver now the hype about Klopp’s return to the Westfalenstadion has passed.

“You cannot deny the emotion that built up, but the second leg is different to the first,” said Tuchel.

“There is a different approach to this game and the focus is completely on playing football. We will be uninhibited.”

LIVERPOOL will pocket another £300,000 from Manchester City as part of the Raheem Sterling transfer.

The Reds received £44m up front for Sterling with another £5m in add ons, part of which was due if City reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
