‘The innocence of children’ Khloe Kardashians explains how the kids reacted to Caitlyn

KHLOE Kardashian has spoken about how her nephews and nieces reacted to Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.

On her talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, she explained that Kourtney’s oldest son Mason was “confused” to begin with.
She said: “My step-dad transitioned, so my sisters have always been very open.
“Mason is the older one, so when Caitlyn would come around he was kind of confused, I think.
“He was four, but he was confused, like, ‘What are you doing Grandpa?’”

She explained how the family helped him through Caitlyn’s transition, too.
She said: “We were just very honest with Mason, as much as you can be.
“Mason was uncomfortable and would kind of be distant but Caitlyn understood and handled it perfectly.”

And while it was a little problem for the oldest of the Kardashian sisters’ children, the younger ones didn’t find it quite as hard.
But it was just a chance thing, due to their ages.
The 31-year-old continued: “The little ones like North and Penelope, they don’t know the difference.

“It’s like the innocence of children. They know her as Caitlyn.”
Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce, announced her transition in a televised interview with Diane Sawyer in April 2015 and in June 2015 she debuted her name on the cover of Vanity Fair.
She has documented her transition on an E! reality docu-show.
