Vile Twitter trolls threaten to rape Jamie Vardy's baby girl

DISGUSTIN Twitter trolls have threatened to rape Jamie Vardy’s infant daughter in a string of revolting messages.

REVOLTING: At least two accounts posted unimaginably horrid Tweets aimed at the Vardy couple

The England striker's fiancée Rebekah Nicholson yesterday tweeted two cute pictures of Sofia sporting her dad's colours at Leicester's 1-0 win over Southampton.

She posted a picture of the one-year-old donning her father's number 9, writing: "Game day! Come on Daddy."

But the images provoked a sick barrage of responses from two accounts in particular.

Many of the messages are too obscene to republish and at least two of the accounts in question have been suspended.

Vardy, 29, highlighted some of the more disgusting examples by retweeting them last night, writing: "Shocking and vile."

One Manchester United fan wrote: "I would rape your little girl with mufc flags and put her face in your p****."

A horrified Rebekah, 33, also replied directly to trolls, whose accounts have now been removed, writing: "You sick f****** twat."

And another: "There are no words for people like you! You need locking up."

Fellow footballers have tried to support Vardy, with ex-Blackpool player Gary Taylor-Fletcher writing: "Disgraceful and sick."

The Leicestershire Police has since been contacted.

The incident follows Twitter trolls targeting Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and Twitter trolls who mocked Daniel Sturridge during injury.

It's really disgraceful and shocking to see this come from someone who is in his right senses.
