THIS is the horrific moment a Muslim woman is verbally abused by an angry shopper for wearing a veil.
Ahlam Saed was attempting to buy a packet of Starburst when she faced a foul-mouthed tirade from the shopper in front of his own children.
He repeatedly asked Miss Saed: “Why do you wear that?”

The abuse allegedly began when Miss Saed, of Somali heritage, walked into the shop and was greeted by the dad humming the Batman tune.
He also allegedly said: “Say what you want girls, she won’t understand English anyway.”
Furious Saed decided to film the verbal attack.

In the clip, the shopper shouts at her: “How do they know if you’re a man or a woman?”
Disturbed by the insults, Saed condemned him for not setting a “good example” to his two daughters.
She said: “You’re ignorant, you need to grow up and stop teaching kids that [language].”
FIGHT: He then squares up to another shopper
The argument escalates during the five minute clip as his daughters start to cry because of the chaos.
A customer came between the pair while another also tried to step in – but the man continued his aggressive rant.
He says: “I know a white girl who married a Muslim man and she has an ISIS flag on her back wall.”

He then accuses her of filming his children before swearing the peacemaking customer.
Saed said afterwards: “At first I was angry with what he was saying but I decided to filter it out and show him that I did speak English and that I am educated.
“But all I got was effing and blinding, so it was useless trying to have a conversation.”
She has not reported the incident to the cops but described the confrontation as “upsetting” and that she was “minding her own business” before the abuse began.
