WWE LEGEND Jerry "The King" Lawler has been arrested over domestic assault charges involving his long-term girlfriend.

Commentator Lawler swapped life behind the mic for a night behind bars as he was booked into jail earlier this morning.
His 27-year-old partner Lauryn McBride has also been arrested following a bust up at their home.
McBride – who is nearly 40 years younger than Lawler – claims he struck her in the head and pushed her against a stove.

She also alleges that Lawler produced a pistol – placing it on the kitchen counter and telling her to kill herself.
Lawler disputes the allegation, arguing that his partner was intoxicated and threw a candle at the wrestling commentator.
He also claims McBridge kicked him in the groin and scratched his face.
It's not the first time the wrestling star has been arrested.
He was once detained for throwing a ticket at a police officer and running over his foot.
Lawler, 66, suffered an on-air heart attack while commentating on WWE in 2012.
He has since made a full recovery and returned to punditry last year.
