Chelsea will bid for Argentinian star in January - reports

CHELSEA are preparing to submit and offer for Paris St-Germain's Javier Pastore in January, according to reports.

Get French Football News say the Blues will tempt PSG to cash in on the Argentine who is a bit-part player under Unai Emery.

Pastore is highly-regarded but struggles to get in to PSG's star-studded midfield.

The arrival of Emery, who replaced Laurent Blanc in the summer, has seen Pastore fall further down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes.

The 27-year-old has struggled with injuries this year but does not fit into Emery's tactical plans.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte had apparently been keeping his eye on Pastore's position since the summer.

GFFN add the midfielder has already received a highly-lucrative offer from the mega-rich Chinese Super League.

An unnamed Italian club is also said to have been in touch about a move away from the French capital.
Pastore is keen to stay at PSG and prove Emery wrong, but his manager may make up his mind for him.
